Between Worlds — Exhibition
Between Worlds is an exploration of liminal space—those charged intervals where form, energy and perception are in transition.
Across elemental abstractions, cosmic atmospheres and restrained gestures of motion, the works resist fixed narratives, instead inviting viewers to inhabit states of becoming.
Each painting functions as a threshold rather than a destination, holding tension between emergence and dissolution, stillness and force.
Together, the exhibition unfolds as a quiet passage through instability, transformation, and transcendence, asking us to linger within uncertainty and recognize it as a generative space.
TRACY LAUDAT
Ammonite
Ammonite draws on spiral forms found in nature as a meditation on time, growth, and continuity. The coiling motion implies both expansion and return, evoking ancient rhythms embedded within matter itself. The painting functions as a visual metaphor for cyclical becoming and deep temporal memory.

Golden Distance
A very different style and technique for me.
This painting reflects a horizon suspended in light. A space where land, sky and reflection merge into stillness. It invites contemplation of distance not as separation but as a place of calm convergence between presence and infinity.

Jovian Night
Threshold of Flow presents a vertical current of gathering motion, poised between emergence and origin. Rising forms suggest ascent without arrival, marking a moment where energy concentrates at the edge of transformation. The work bridges suspension and source within the exhibition’s narrative arc.

Light Through the Rift
Light Through the Rift reveals illumination as a force that emerges through fracture. Divided forms allow light to pass, transforming rupture into possibility. The painting suggests hope without resolution.

Molten Ascent
Molten Ascent captures heat and gravity in dynamic tension. Flowing forms surge upward, suggesting transformation driven by elemental pressure. The work embodies ascent as an act forged through resistance.

Monochrome “Wave”
This painting captures the raw and fluid motion of the sea through an abstract lens. In this monochrome composition swirling shades of black, white, silver and grey converge in a mesmerizing dance that evokes both turbulence and tranquillity. The central light void draws the viewer inwards, suggesting the crest of an immense ocean wave suspended in time, inviting reflection on the balance between chaos and calm.
The painting is enhanced with a resin glaze finish for a glass like shine.

Rise of the Phoenix
This painting represents the eternal cycle of death and renewal, where fire becomes both end and beginning. It represents resilience, transformation and the beauty of becoming anew.

Stairway to Heaven
Stairway to Heaven suggests ascent through layered light and spatial progression. Rather than depicting arrival, the work focuses on the act of rising. Transcendence is framed as an ongoing process rather than a final state.

The Edge of Becoming
“The Edge of Becoming” traces a quiet moment of transformation — where light shifts, forms flow, and something new begins to emerge. Mixed media with gold leaf and hand painted embellishments that add detail and definition to movement.

The Source
The Source gestures toward origin without fixing it. Forms condense and glow, implying a generative centre from which movement and matter arise. Rather than depicting a beginning, the work holds the potential of beginnings themselves.
50cm x 50cm

The Verge
The Verge depicts a charged boundary where accumulation gives way to inevitability. Pressure builds within the composition, suggesting a moment just before rupture or release. The painting embodies the instability inherent in all thresholds. ]
