Blue series “Parting of the Seas”
Probably one of my favourite colour palettes to work with. Different shades of blue, iridescent turquoise and silver and pearl white through this gorgeous piece. Painted on a split base of dark Prussian blue separated with white in this composition of the parting seas. Inspired by the crashing seas at Barbados North point. Satin varnish finish to prevent colours from fading and allow colours to shimmer through. Painted on a deep edge canvas. A spilt base of deep teal and blue give an interesting contrast to this sweeping crescent of various blues including turquoise, blue green and shimmering gold that catches the light beautifully.

Blue series 1
Another in my long deep edge canvases although it can be hung sideways as well, depending on what you like best. Airforce blue background with iridescent turquoise and metallics makes this piece really shimmer beautifully.
I have used a Satin Matt varnish finish to protect from colour fade.

Blue series "Wave"
Original abstract acrylic art piece on stretched canvas set in a deep edge Prussian blue frame. Made by myself.
I have used several different shades of blue, metallic turquoise, greys and silver through this gorgeous piece to try and capture the movement of a rolling wave just before it breaks.
Painted on a white background to accentuate the design. Satin varnish coated to prevent colours from fading.

Blue series "Triptych Wave"
This is the 1st of my triptych paintings on long deep edge canvases. Taking inspiration from my original rolling wave painting I wanted to create a piece that accentuated movement across 3 canvases.
I have used a Sky-blue background for this design with deep Prussian blue for contrast against the kings, Ultra-marine and greyish blues. Iridescent turquoise and silver create a subtle shimmer throughout the movement.
I have finished the triptych with a resin coat that gives it an incredible glossy shine.

Blue series "Blue Bird"
Absolutely stunning round canvas painting, I have named this “Blue Bird”.A Dutch pour technique using a variety of blues on a gradient background to give interest and contrast to this piece. It has been finished with a high gloss varnish to protect from colour fading.

Blue series "Violet Moon"
I have created a violet moon against a deep rich purple background. Feathers of turquoise, white and gold feature across the front of the moon. The piece is set within a matching floating wooden frame matching the base colour, so it visually flows right through to the edges.
A gloss varnish is used on this piece not only to protect the colours from fading but also to allow the richness of colours to really stand out and shine through.
